This role is responsible for creating compelling content across the buyer and customer journey. The Sr. Manager, Content Marketing collaborates across functions and regions to deliver strategic content designed to meet business objectives and acts as a champion for content alignment and content best practices.
Armed with the “what to say” from the product marketing and demand generation functions, the Sr. Manager, Content Manager synthesizes the audience’s interests with the message at hand, crafting valuable content that convinces the reader (or viewer) to take a specific action. This individual is responsible for developing and executing content marketing tactics with the goal of driving traffic, engagement, leads, customer retention, and brand awareness.
This role requires pairing exceptional storytelling with the latest content strategies to create the content our audience is looking for and optimize the path to conversion and advocacy. The ideal candidate builds rapport with ease, delivers a useful and relevant message that doesn’t feel “salesy,” creating and directing content needed for all mediums: web, nurture, white papers, eBooks, infographics, videos, articles. This also includes editing, SEO, and template creation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage content planning, creation, and delivery for our marketing GTMs. This includes managing vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
    • Working with Integrated Campaign Manager, develop multi-channel content strategies for activation.
    • Collaborate with all marketing functions to execute content, including: Design, Comms, Web, Campaigns.
    • Edit and proofread copy as needed.
    • Use SEO principles to maximize reach.
    • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement.
    • Conduct regular content audits.
    • Integrate content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand-to-demand motions.
    • Leverage metrics and reporting to better optimize content across all channels.

A Little More About You:

    • 10+ years marketing experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
    • Proven content marketing experience.
    • Education industry experience a plus.
    • Experience with Uber Flip a plus.
    • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with global stakeholders.
    • Understanding of global content needs.
    • Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and project management skills.
    • A sense of humor 🙂
