Overview

Who we are…

Pearl Health is restoring the independence and joy of practicing medicine for doctors in America. Our healthcare system has burdened our doctors with too much process, while removing them from what they do best: caring for those we love most. We are a team of physicians (Groups), physician-enablement experts (VillageMD, Steward, Stellar) and technologists (athenahealth, TrialSpark, Flatiron Health) and health plan leaders (Oscar, Clover, Centivo) who believe that primary care providers (PCPs) are the key to America’s future health. Our investors include Andreessen Horowitz and AlleyCorp.

We believe there is a need to bring humanism back to healthcare. We launched Pearl Health to help PCPs who are overwhelmed by the demands of an aging population and the unpredictable business model inherent to Traditional Medicare. This solution will empower PCPs to provide better care to their entire patient population and democratize access to healthcare risk, making it more readily available and optimized through an intelligent marketplace. We free physicians to better allocate their time with patients, increase their autonomy, and provide incentives that are aligned with achieving better outcomes through clinical decision-making powered by actionable intelligence.

Our future team member will be…

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, experienced, and hands-on Senior Manager of Growth Marketing / Demand Generation to design, execute, and iterate marketing programs, campaigns, and activities that increase traffic, leads, pipeline, and — ultimately — revenue from our work with a rapidly growing network of independent primary care physicians across the United States. We’re racing toward aggressive growth targets in the upcoming year, and this role will be pivotal as we continue to scale the business.

This role will report into our Chief Growth Officer, and will be poised to rapidly take on increasing responsibility as our team continues to grow.

What a Senior Manager, Demand Generation means to us…

  • You’ll oversee the design and implementation of our outbound sales and marketing campaigns across email, direct mail, and other channels.
  • You’ll oversee the execution and activation of our lifecycle marketing plans. You and your team will be responsible for continuing our growth!
  • You’ll oversee and manage the strategy and execution of testing into paid acquisition efforts, designing and testing into a paid acquisition budget to drive more traffic, high-quality leads, pipeline, and revenue through paid channels.
  • Identify, recommend, and manage relationships with external vendors, including but not limited to performance marketing and SEO agencies or consultants, to and build and improve upon paid social, SEM, and SEO efforts.
  • Use and co-develop campaign assets with Marketing team members and others across Pearl for marketing programs and campaigns to generate a growing library of content  — e.g., eBooks, guides, webinars, tools, industry reports, and events — to drive pipeline and new customers through our outbound and lifecycle email programs.
  • Partner with Growth Strategy & Operations, Data Science, and other stakeholders in the company to lead the development and day-management of Lead Lifecycle Management, iterating our evolving definition of a qualified lead.
  • Partner with Growth Strategy and Operations to report on the performance of growth marketing efforts so we know exactly what’s working, what’s not, and how we can best hit our goals. You’ll ensure we have detailed insight into all funnel metrics and the ROI across every acquisition channel.
  • Partner with the Network Development (Sales) and Marketing team to build out our integrated marketing plans, establish quarterly priorities, and track results.
  • Partner with the Director of Brand Design — with inputs from Market Success (Account Management) and Network Development team members to create thought leadership-centric virtual and in-person brand experiences to engage and delight independent primary care physicians.
  • Work across the organization to ensure successful implementation of critical projects.

Who you are…

  • 4-8 years of B2B growth marketing or demand generation experience in the SaaS space spanning email marketing, field and event marketing, direct mail, content syndication, SEO, PPC, Social, Display, programmatic and retargeting.
  • Experience using high-quality content to drive pipeline and new business through owned channels.
  • A strong bias toward action and the ability to lead your team to become experts at rapidly testing and scaling acquisition channels.
  • Experience managing complex projects, meeting deadlines and handling several projects at a time with a high attention to detail. We’re very serious about meeting our commitments!
  • Experience with Marketing Technology tools and systems like Hubspot, Google Analytics, and WordPress among others. Expert in Email Marketing, Event Marketing, Analytics, Paid Marketing, Social Media, and Search Marketing.
  • A love of analytics and a proven track record of using data to find and scale profitable acquisition channels. You’re a marketing leader who is comfortable in spreadsheets!
  • 1+ years of experience managing direct reports and the ability to coach and mentor other marketers, including your direct reports.
  • A willingness and ability to learn quickly about the healthcare industry, especially about the challenges and opportunities faced by independent primary care physicians and practices who serve Medicare patients.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry a plus
