As Product Marketing Manager of Developer Marketing you’ll be responsible for release marketing, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, go-to-market (GTM) planning and execution, and other product marketing initiatives for our developer  products. You help represent the product, showcase its value and help it grow a strong user base. In this highly cross-functional role, you partner with product, marketing, brand, communications, legal, web strategy, creative, and more to pull off remarkable launches.

We’re looking for an experienced product marketer, a driver; with a strong owner’s mindset and demonstrated ability in driving product launches, go-to-market strategies, product growth through driving awareness and adoption. A story-teller; who is able to tell authentic and relatable stories by way of empathizing and understanding our customers, developers, and partners. And An Operator; who is adept at building and maintaining lasting relationships & working cross-functionally across teams to drive meaningful growth for their domain.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Orchestrate large-scale campaigns that bring technical products like APIs, Objects, etc to market for our developers and app partners to build on. Then help launch those tools to customers.
  • From identifying our developer personas through research and analysis, product prioritization, positioning, naming, competitive intelligence, and more, you help shape the overall narrative and how we bring a cohesive message to market that resonates with existing and new HubSpot developers.
  • Bring to life new marketing content and messaging for overall product lines and thematic campaigns.
  • Work closely with leadership and internal stakeholders to gain buy-in across and communicate milestones across various departments and stakeholders for product launches
  • Build and execute a go-to-market strategy as well as drive release marketing for developer products.
  • Partner closely with Developer Relations to build necessary enablement and assets to help make developers and partners successful.
  • Communicate technical features and benefits with both technical and non-technical users. Identify and experiment with new routes to market to gain traction among new potential HubSpot developers with technical influence engagement
  • Analyze and evaluate promotion and programs to make recommendations and improvements.
  • Grow top-of-funnel demand and engagement through partnership with peer teams on new forms of content
  • Run a monthly newsletter to the developer community:

We are looking for people who:

  • A history and track record of not just working cross functionally but organizing and leading cross-functional project teams to deliver impactful go-to-market launches.
  • General understanding of technical products like APIs, webhooks, Objects and the developer audience.
  • Demonstrated experience in product marketing or building enablement for technical products, including go-to-market strategy and release marketing, for a SaaS or Product Led Growth technology company.
  • Data-driven and comfortable measuring impact of efforts to iterate as needed to drive impactful results
  • Skilled storyteller and customer-centric in your approach to marketing
  • Can interpret usage data or market research to make decisions and recommendations
  • Great project management skills including strong communication around project timelines, responsible individuals, and status
  • An owner’s mindset; with high personal accountability – able to work independently to drive projects and initiatives and understand and anticipate the needs of your portfolio.

Cash compensation range: 112000-168000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
