With logistics expertise built into the heart of its software, Chain.io plugs into any ecosystem seamlessly and makes sure the right data is going to the right people at the right time. Customers leverage Chain.io’s network to optimize critical business processes. Chain.io shines when solving complex supply chain challenges and problems that require integrating multiple types of technologies. The Chain.io network includes shippers, logistics service providers, and the software packages that support them.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on Business Development within 3PLs, Freight Forwarders, Shippers and SAAS provider markets, grow and develop key prospect relationships.
  • Aggressively prospect and generate new relationships within accounts.
  • Qualify prospects as per sales plan, budget and decision making.
  • Conduct and run demos of Chain.io’s software platform.
  • Execute proven sales process for selling enterprise software.
  • Document sales activities within Hubspot CRM software and Airtable.
  • Engage with the sales and leadership team to prepare for meetings.
  • Coordinate with the sales and leadership team to improve demos and presentations.
  • Exceed revenue and productivity metrics as per VP of Sales and CEO goals.
  • Handle customer presentations, demos, quotes, proposals, RFIs and RFPs.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.
  • Prospects for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain a predetermined number of target accounts and demonstrate active attention to those accounts and progress toward closing.
  • Meet or exceed sales threshold/quota as defined by the company.

What You Bring To The Team

  • 3+ years of SAAS sales experience, with a clear and demonstrable track record of exceeding quota for 2 of the last 3 years.
  • Experienced hunter who has a demonstrated track record of penetrating new accounts and driving SaaS subscription revenue within those accounts in excess of $25K-50K+ a year.
  • High level of motivation for sales and strong motivation to earn significantly more income; experience/desire working on a performance based compensation structure required.
  • Massive drive, personal commitment to excellence and positive attitude at all times.
  • Ambitious, confident, enthusiastic individual with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Ability to quickly understand customer success stories and communicate them as proof points to new prospects and targets.
  • Customer centric with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
