About the position
Wirecutter is seeking an inventive and motivated intern to join our editorial team. In this role, you will learn the ins and outs of our growing, thriving editorial organization and collaborate with different teams to understand and participate in our process.
As the Spring 2022 Audience Engagement Intern, you’ll help Wirecutter grow its audience and reach readers where they are, including social media and their inbox. You will work with the audience development team to share Wirecutter’s reviews and advice on various platforms. Your work may include packaging stories for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram; contributing to the production of our newsletters; pitching ideas for our TikTok channel or other original content for our off-platform audience.
Interested candidates should provide links to original social assets or videos, alongside a resume and a cover letter outlining your experience promoting content on social platforms. You can only upload one file in the “Résumé/CV” box, so either combine and upload your résumé and other materials as one file or use the “My Experience” section to attach them.
This is a paid, part-time (20 hours per week), remote internship. The spring internship term starts on February 7, 2022, and ends on April 29, 2022.
