Overview

SailPoint is looking for a Sr. Director of Digital Marketing and Web, to lead a team and drive our strategies and execution for digital media and global web presence. You will work with global marketing programs, web marketing, field marketing and product marketing teams as a key player in building a digital enterprise journey for our target customers and prospects. The ideal candidate is from a fast-growth software company or digital marketing agency, with extensive hands-on experience developing and executing global digital media and demand generation marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor the digital marketing and web development teams

  • Drive strategy, planning and execution of SEM, SEO, remarketing, paid social, display etc. to drive awareness and demand. Develop a robust digital enterprise journey on the website to engage, educate and convert our target audience.

  • Own the strategy and development of website to deliver a modern enterprise customer and prospect journey.

  • Support the development of an online customer community.

  • Work closely with other marketing teams in planning and execution of integrated programs and initiatives

  • Manage and optimize digital programs with data-driven and testing approach to continuous improvement

  • Drive recommendations of new digital marketing opportunities and ideas. Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and innovations

  • Manage the CMS maintenance and connection of website to marketing automation system (Eloqua), ensuring proper tracking of web leads for accurate reporting and continuous optimization of website lead generation activities

  • Oversee SEO strategy

  • Establish a data driven and agile marketing approach to continuously make recommendations to improve overall digital marketing performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven success managing digital marketing and web development teams

  • Proven success managing digital marketing and web development programs

  • 8 plus years’ experience with Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter ads

  • 8 plus years’ experience with Google Analytics and site optimization tools

  • Understanding of SEO strategies and experience with SEO softwar

  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing and web performance KPIs. Strong ability to understand data and distill insights to drive actions and improve business performance.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks and work in fast-paced environment

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills required

  • Critical thinker capable of generating consistently accurate, useful reports as well as an enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insights relevant to marketing program objectives

  • BS or BA in marketing, communication, business or related area of study
