As a pivotal part of the Copilot team, you will contribute to the evolution of our AI Copilot and help shape its foundational architecture, making AI more accessible and impactful for our users.

What You’ll Do:

  • Hands-on and Experiential Leadership: As a Staff level engineer, you’re a hands-on technical leader. Your role will amplify the capabilities of your team, sharing knowledge on the latest AI/ML system best practices. Your quick adaptation and implementation of clear direction will foster a strong, innovative team environment. Your role involves architecting AI/ML systems, mentoring engineers, providing strategic project directions, and embodying the core values of our engineering team.
  • Navigate New AI Landscapes: You’ll dive deep into the world of language models and their applications, bringing hands-on experience from working with large-scale, data-intensive applications or ML systems. Your curiosity will drive you to explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance the Copilot’s performance, including prompt engineering, OSS LLM Stack, fine-tuning, LangChain-like agents, RAG and Vector/Semantic DBs.
  • Bridge Gaps: With a forward-looking approach, you’ll be instrumental in integrating existing systems with the next-gen AI technologies, focusing on areas that make our AI systems effective for our business, such as conversational context and memory management, personalized prompts and continuous feedback loops for LLM finetuning.

Cash compensation range: 218900-328400 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
