Tackle enables software companies to accelerate and operationalize the use of Cloud Marketplaces from AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, and Red Hat, without the need for significant engineering resources. Our platform and our team come together to make it easier for our customers to build, grow, and scale their Marketplace businesses. Tackle works with leading software companies like Auth0, CrowdStrike, HashiCorp, Lacework, New Relic, Snyk, VMware, and many more at every stage—from startups to enterprise. We recently raised a $100M Series C round and are backed by three of the world’s top SaaS investors—Coatue, a16z, and Bessemer Venture Partners—as we continue to execute on our mission to positively transform the way that software is sold.

We are looking for an energetic, consultative, passionate Strategic Account Executive who can put both their business acumen and technical skills into action.

Your Day:

    • Evangelize the Tackle Vision and our ability to help transform the way software companies sell
    • Focus on selling to Large ISVs with deep product portfolios
    • Leverage your creativity to identify and qualify new opportunities to maintain a 3x pipeline
    • Ability to run complex sales cycles, from start to finish, with some of the worlds largest software companies
    • Become an expert in Marketplace selling – this means being able to guide ISV’s through a “Why Marketplace” conversation.
    • Leverage sales management tools to track sales activities
    • Sell the breadth of the Tackle Platform to Large ISVs
    • Communicating with the extended Tackle teams early and often – including working closely with Customer Success, Account Management (Tackle Guides), and Regional Sales Directors, to drive the best outcomes for our customers
    • Consultatively guiding conversations with prospects via video and in-person

Skills:

    • 5+ years of experience selling B2B SaaS Solutions
    • 3+ years experience working complex deals with larger organizations from prospect to close
    • You understand and thrive on operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
    • Technologically adept and business acumen-focused, with outstanding communication (written and oral), negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • History of over achievement and several references from people telling us we’d be silly not to hire you
    • Ability and desire to learn fast, adapt quickly, and pivot without breaking a sweat
    • Experience working with AWS, Azure, GCP, or RedHat is helpful
    • The ability to work individually (and remotely) and collaborate within a team environment to achieve your goals.
    • You’re curious and enjoy learning about software companies, what they sell, how they sell it, and to whom they sell

The Hiring Process:

• Phone screen

• 3 additional video chat interviews (on occasion there may be opportunities for in-person interviews)
