Overview
HubSpot is looking for a ServiceNow Engineer to join our team and help to roll out ServiceNow across the company. In this role you will revolutionize how HubSpotters get help within the company and assist teams across the organization in improving their help processes. You’ll be helping to configure and maintain our ServiceNow environment, and you’ll work alongside our ServiceNow Engineering and BSAs. This role resides within our System Operations team, which comprises system engineers and administrators responsible for HubSpot’s IT server and application infrastructure.
What You Get to Do:
Operational Support
- Support the platform to ensure stability, upgradeability, integrity and efficient operation of the platform.
- Execute upgrades and install patch/fixes, Investigate and resolve incidents
- Work closely with the various teams across HubSpot leveraging ServiceNow
Solution Development and Delivery
- Work with key stakeholders (process owners, service owners, etc) to match requirements with platform capabilities.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and story creation all the way through to solution development and testing.
- Develop innovative solutions that deliver high value business outcomes.
We are looking for people who have:
- Valid ServiceNow Administrator certification
- Strong understanding of ITSM and ITAM processes, customizations, and best practices.
- Ability to build or modify scripts using Javascript, HTML or other languages as necessary
- Experience building new integrations with Integration Hub
- REST API experience or Scripted Web Services
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced oral, written and presentation communications including the ability to present technical information in a way that non-technical audiences will understand
Nice to have:
- Experience with multiple ServiceNow platform products desired (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, GRC, Security Operations, CSM, Scoped/Custom Applications)
- Experience with Flow Designer
- Ability to occasionally visit a regional office

Cash compensation range: 115,000-140,000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
