What is VEED.IO?

VEED.IO is an online video editing platform that makes creative videos easy and accessible to all. Our platform is used by millions of creators around the world who use our products to tell stories, create content, grow audiences and more (hey, you might even know some of them!).

Since we started VEED in 2018, we have grown much faster than we could have ever imagined. We are now one of the most popular video editing applications in the world. As our user base grows so does our talented team and we are excited to launch our first in house recruitment role!

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone to help us drive our growth, today we are 57 and by the end of the year we hope to double our head count. We’re a company that celebrates diversity and equality, represented by team members in 6 out of 7 continents. Our team are our best asset, we are smart, energetic, extremely talented and driven. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we all love what we do.

In this role you will lead our recruitment strategy, building our hiring process and employer brand to attract the greatest talent to VEED.IO. You will be someone who can work independently, form good relationships with key stakeholders and create an unparalleled candidate experience. We’d love to see previous in-house recruitment experience with a focus on tech roles in a start-up environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Responsible for end to end hiring process, from defining job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews and negotiating contracts
  • Offer guidance and support for hiring managers to define role requirements, design interview process and conduct salary benchmarking
  • Engage with active and passive candidates creating a diverse talent pipeline for current and future vacancies using advanced sourcing and networking techniques
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience
  • Build our employer brand to attract the greatest talent worldwide

Requirements

  • Experience owning and driving the end-to-end recruitment process for hiring, within a fast paced, technology driven start up environment
  • Experience of building strategy and actively sourcing talent using professional networks, social media, job boards, talent pools, headhunting and other channels
  • A passion for Veed and an ability to turn that into captivating conversations to promote and inspire candidates about opportunities at Veed
  • You’re comfortable with distributed teams, working remotely, and collaborating with team members and senior stakeholders all over the world
  • Self-motivated and possessing the ability to work on your own initiative
