About the team:

At HubSpot, the Frontend Platform group has crafted a shared foundation for our micro frontend architecture, making it easier for HubSpot’s small, autonomous teams to work together seamlessly but also independently. The teams ensure that the 400 frontend engineers at HubSpot can efficiently create consistent, reliable, and performant user experiences in our product while maintaining fast-paced iteration cycles, and independently shipping to production multiple times a day. The Frontend Platform group owns the tools, libraries, infrastructure, and practices for making our UI and the engineers that work on it exceptional.

What we are looking for individuals who:

  • Partner with fellow technical leads and own a small platform team’s planning, execution and rollout.
  • Manage a small team of engineers while still making individual contributions.
  • Foster an environment that encourages autonomy and psychological safety.
  • Understand the value of building a diverse team, and are champions and upstanders for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives.
  • Passion for CI/CD and building tools to make your coworkers’ life easier.
  • Experience with a modern JavaScript framework such as React or Angular
  • Bonus points for any of the following:
    • contributed to or created plugins for tools like Webpack, Rollup, Babel, ESLint
    • working in a micro-frontend environment
    • automating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Webpack, babel, and Node.js
    • working with design systems and/or component libraries
    • experience monitoring, profiling and optimizing web applications.

Cash compensation range: 150000-210000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
