The UX Designer will partner with product managers and engineering leads to facilitate design thinking and user-centered approaches that help teams understand and define problems well. They will design experiences that support what users want to know and do, every day. In this role, you will advocate strongly for simplicity and user needs, always testing your work. Your initial focus will be on how to make actionable data views that surface critical tasks and show overall trends and how to improve.

In This Role You Will:

      • Partner with product managers and engineering leads on user research efforts to understand problems and surface opportunities for the product. Share insights with the organization. Translate insights into action for your team.
      • Model the user experience from early ideas to comprehensive understanding, using sketches, flows, concepts, prototypes, and annotated wireframes.
      • Seek internal and external design reviews to refine your thinking.
      • Create, execute, and analyze usability tests on the existing product or high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
      • Participate in storymapping sessions to help teams define MVPs and build backlogs. Help define or groom user stories, as needed.
      • Be an integral part of the product development team. Help them gain a shared understanding of what we are making and why. Build empathy for Tackle users.
      • Always collaborate. You know how to work well with product managers and engineering leads. You are an equal partner to drive the direction and success of your product together.
      • Embrace a culture of respect, inclusion, collaboration, and transparency.

You Should Have:

      • 3+ years of UX design experience for enterprise products (B2B)
      • Experience in user research, design thinking, and UX design methods
      • Good storytelling skills, especially for data. You are able to present the user鈥檚 point-of-view to your teams and other stakeholders.
      • A portfolio of work that demonstrates design thinking in action. Please include access to your portfolio when applying, or we cannot consider you.
      • High comfort using collaborative design tools, such as Figma and Miro
      • Some experience using Jira or similar systems to plan and prioritize research and design tasks
      • Ability to sketch or draw to quickly share ideas
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • BONUS: Quantitative research experience, including survey methods and user analytics in Pendo or similar products
