The UX Designer/Researcher will be a part of a well-funded, fully remote, growth-stage company helping shape the way that software is bought and sold in the Cloud Marketplaces (AWS, GCP, Azure and Red Hat). Tackle’s Product and User Experience Team is growing and evolving at a fast pace. We balance consistent innovation and improvement of existing products with new and exciting greenfield projects. In This Role You Will:

    • Partner with members of our UX and Product teams in the area of design research efforts to better understand core business problems and opportunities that can be addressed by the Tackle platform.
    • Model the user experience from early ideas to comprehensive understanding, using sketches, flows, concepts, prototypes, and annotated wireframes.
    • Participate in story mapping and defining or grooming user stories.
    • Create, execute, and analyze usability tests on the existing product or high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
    • Support the research process and interviewing efforts of our users, cloud partners and stakeholders.
    • Be a part of an embedded, collaborative product development team with the goal of achieving a common, shared understanding of what we are building and why we are building it.
    • Embrace a culture of respect, inclusion, collaboration, and transparency.

You Should Have:

    • 2+ years of UX design experience in either B2B or Enterprise products or served in a capacity as a product designer or interaction designer in the past looking to move into UX research.
    • Solid experience in methods for user research, Design Thinking, and UX design theory.
    • An ability to tell an exceptional story through the lens of a user or stakeholder through your design choices and one that encourages empathy.
    • Expertise working with design tools to visualize work such as Sketch, Invision, Figma and Miro.
    • Experience working collaboratively with Product Managers.
    • Ability to sketch/draw to quickly share ideas and learnings.
    • A portfolio of work that demonstrates design thinking in action.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
