The opportunity: 

Snap! Raise is looking for a UX Designer to help us expand our comprehensive financial management suite, providing non-profits of all sizes with an all-in-one solution for banking, payment processing, fundraising, financial controls & planning, and risk reduction. You’ll report directly to our Head of Design, working on an empowered team alongside a PM and lead engineer.

This is a full-time, remote position.

What you’ll do as a UX Designer:

  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and internal stakeholders to discover and design our core product experience. This includes dashboards, financial management tools, workflows, eCommerce, and more

  • Drive research to understand our customers’ needs and pain points, to validate designs, and to use those insights to improve our web and app product experiences

What we’re looking for in a UX Designer:  

  • 2-3 years of experience in UX design in digital with websites and/or apps

    • Strong portfolio that highlights solid UI and visual design skills, research, mobile design, persona creation, and design process (please provide a link to your portfolio)

  • High level of proficiency with Figma

  • A track record of synthesizing multiple and diverse inputs from various sources into unified and useable functionality

  • Experience discovering solutions through research and user testing (sharing prototypes with customers and internal stakeholders)

  • Strong grasp of the best practices for designing mobile-first experiences

  • Ability to extend existing designs in a seamless fashion

  • Ability to process design challenges across the entire product, not just within silos

  • Ability to drive an end-to-end design process

  • Ability to explain your process and design decisions to your cross-functional partners

  • Experience in some of the following areas: fintech, accounting, eCommerce, visualizations, workflow software, graphic design

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required


  • The position is a salaried, exempt position
