We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our AI Copilot team within the AI Innovation Group. This role is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of AI technology to solve complex customer problems, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall user experience. The AI Copilot team collaborates closely with machine learning engineers, product managers, designers, and cross-functional partners to integrate, innovate, and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions that drive user engagement and success.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable backend systems and services to support AI-driven features and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with machine learning engineers to integrate machine learning algorithms into our product suite, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Innovate and prototype new features based on user feedback and data-driven insights, with a focus on solving real-world problems faced by our customers.
  • Work in a dynamic, agile environment with a team of engineers, product managers, designers, and content creators to deliver holistic solutions that address user needs.
  • Conduct code reviews, contribute to internal tooling, and maintain high coding standards to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks to keep our solutions at the forefront of AI innovation.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has extensive experience in backend development, with proficiency in Java or a willingness to learn and adapt to new programming languages.
  • Is deeply passionate about creating positive user experiences and solving customer problems through technology.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams across the organization.
  • Is innovative and entrepreneurial, with a keen interest in staying ahead of technology trends, particularly in AI and machine learning.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance, with a track record of delivering high-quality software products.

Cash compensation range: 165200-214800 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
