As a member of the Infrastructure team at Aurora, you will own the architectural foundation of how our software systems connect to humans and services alike, creating observable systems that are designed to scale for high-performant, global use. From commit to client, your contributions will help Aurora’s Frontend developers bring solar energy to the world.

What you’ll do:

    • Analyze existing build processes and roll out various tooling changes and optimizations to enable frontend quality
    • Work with the Frontend Guild to adapt and improve the entire development lifecycle to improve reliability, speed, and transparency
    • Educate and evangelize best practices and modern techniques through a combination of written documentation, internal presentations, and proactive assistance
    • Assist fellow Infrastructure members in ongoing iterative improvements across all technology stacks that affect the security and reliability of technology throughout the organization.

What we value:

    • At least one prior project focused on the development of software build, test, or release tooling
    • Experience in the design and rollout of software systems, owning both technical deployment and human education and training
    • A love of pragmatic craftsmanship
    • A deep desire to grow and contribute to the growth of others
    • Software service development experience is a plus
    • Mobile/web UI experiences is a plus
