We are looking for a full-time front end engineer to join 3D Aim Trainer whose products help gamers and esports enthusiasts to get better at what they love doing. Recently acquired by the Danish company SteelSeries, a producer of innovative gear for gaming and esports, 3D Aim Trainer will continue to grow and develop more software for gamers.

What will you be doing?

  • You will be part of the team that is working on 3D Aim Trainer, the skill building tool within Software and Services.

  • Together with the engineering team (7 people today) you will be responsible for taking the product to its next level.

  • As a hands-on front-end engineer you will be given the opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and learn every day.

  • You will have collaborative, constructive conversations with other engineers, designers, and product managers about how to improve the existing code and products.

  • You will be able to grow your skills by being mentored and mentoring other developers

  • Testing will be part of your routine.

  • You will bring value to your customers quickly, before measuring, improving and repeating.

Technical skills

  • You have a broad knowledge in software development in general and have built multiple consumer facing applications that were used by a high number of users.

  • You have a good working knowledge of VueJS

  • You believe in collective code ownership, that a story isn’t done until there are tests written. You believe that all code is unit testable.

  • Experience in using REST APIs

  • You know your way around in GitHub

  • Version control is something you cannot do without

  • You can communicate efficiently in English


Bonus points

  • Experience in Electron and CI/CD

  • A passion for gaming

  • Knowledge of other technologies used by 3D Aim Trainer and SteelSeries, such as Laravel / PHP, MySQL, Redis, Digital Ocean, Cloudflare.
